Description:
Assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned patients and supervises all nursing staff related to the Med/Surg and OB departments.
Provides professional nursing care to these patients incorporating the nursing process, the environment, technical equipment, and health care members.
Qualifications:
-State of Iowa RN License
-Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; not required.
-Prefer at least three (3) years of nursing experience to include both clinical and supervisory experience
-BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required
-A minimum of one (1) year OB/NSY experience preferred but not required; willing to cross train
-Mandatory Reporting certification required within 6 months of hire
-Must pass background check, physical, drug screen, TB Test, and flu shot (seasonal) upon hire.
