Description:
Integrates the elements of health maintenance, disease prevention, physical diagnosis and treatment in a patient care clinic; including the treatment and management of common, acute and chronic conditions.
Provides and manages direct patient care, including performing physical examinations, diagnostic testing and prescribing the appropriate drug therapy or dietary regimen.

Qualifications:
-Must have and be able to maintain an unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Iowa
-Licensed by the Board of Physician Assistant Examiners of the State of Iowa.
-Certified by the National Commission on Certification of the Physician Assistants, Inc. (NCPPA)
-BLS required
-Clinic experience preferred
-Understands HIPAA regulations and privacy of patient information
-Mandatory Reporting certification required within 6 months of hire
-Must pass background check, physical, drug screen, TB Test, and flu shot (seasonal) upon hire.
