Dr. Amy Bingaman
Dr. Amy Bingaman is a board-certified OB/GYN with more than 15 years of experience providing full-spectrum women’s health care. Originally from the Chicago area, she has lived in six states but proudly considers Iowa home after spending most of her life here. She graduated from Drake University and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Iowa.
Dr. Bingaman is a proud United States Navy veteran, having served 8.5 years on active duty. She completed her OB/GYN internship and residency at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia and continued caring for patients there for an additional 4.5 years. After returning to Iowa 15 years ago, she has continued practicing comprehensive OB/GYN care across the state.
Her professional interests include adolescent gynecology, peri- and menopausal care, robotic surgery, LGBTQ+ care, and helping patients understand their options so they can make informed, personalized decisions that improve their health, comfort, and quality of life.
Dr. Bingaman is married to a 50/50 farmer and is a proud mom to their four children. She enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, traveling, running, and raising ducks, chickens, and goats.
